Welcome
to NCGR's E-Calendar Around
the World with NCGR!
We've come to a quiet time of year for
scheduling events due to the holiday season.
The announcements will increase in January.
In the meantime, there is plenty to look
over in the Calendar.
Feel free to
forward Around
the World with NCGR to anyone you
think is interested in receiving it. A
link to update your information is located at
the end of this page.
We
would love to hear about events going on in
your country and your community.
Around
the World with NCGR accepts all
announcements for events that are (1) focused
on astrology and (2) sponsored by a non-profit
organization. However, the publication is not
an advertising venue; listings of astrology
classes or lectures by individuals will not be
accepted, nor will psychics, feng shui
experts, palm or tarot readers, etc., fine as
those practices are. Submissions to Around
the World with NCGR should be sent to execsec@geocosmic.org --
preferably as a Word document.
Liane
Thomas Wade
NCGR
Executive Secretary,
P.S.
If you choose not to receive Around
the World with NCGR again, hit the
"opt out" link at the top of this
page.

Announcement -- Due to the
fact that at least one of the sponsoring
organizations delayed the release of their
journal until the Regulus Ballots were
completed, and due to the fact that this
delay could cause members of some sponsoring
organizations (including AFAN) to receive
their journals and newsletters after the
Dec. 1 discount rate cutoff date, UAC
has decided that the special Dec. 1 discount
rates will be extended until December 31.

Kitty Hatcher's Home, Cost $45 members and $65
non-members; info: Phone: 410-323-0866, E-mail: Lyman409@yahoo.com
In an effort to display planetary declinations
within the chart in the same way planets' longitudes
have been displayed, Helmut has devised a system
which he calls the Vertical Zodiac (VZ). It displays
the planetary declinations in the same way the
regular planets have been displayed, in terms of
zodiacal longitude. In the Vertical Zodiac we
have at our disposal all the conventional aspects
between the declination planets and also between
declination planets and regular planets. Declination
planets can be progressed using the same method as
progressing regular planets! The Vertical
Zodiac and Planet Specific Vertical Zodiac are new
astrological territory, open for anyone to explore
and experiment with. Helmut has given us an exciting
time to work jointly with him to give this system a
try. Helmut Licht has studied astrology since 1963
and is certified by the Mayo School of Astrology in
London, the brotherhood of Light, and has passed the
professional exam of the AFA. He is the
current Baltimore NCGR Educational Director and has
created and maintains the Baltimore NCGR website.

as our relationship with foreign governments.
This will be one of the most informative and
exciting lectures of the year. Brendan is an
internationally recognized author, speaker, teacher

The Asteroids - Juno, Ceres,
Pallas & Vesta
Over a number of years Laura Nalbandian
has been working with these wonderful and
very rich Asteroids through myth, story, and
personal journey. In this workshop, we'll
explore these myths and archetypes and discover
how they can apply and become a part of your
astrological repertoire. Although
Laura is of the philosophy that less is more,
and tends not to clutter the chart, she
has found that these Goddesses represent
powerful themes that are not articulated in the
basic natal chart. Participants are invited
to bring their own chart along on this
mythical journey. If you would like to use
your chart as an example during the workshop,
please email Laura with your birthdata: laurag@astrologyetal.com.
Melanie Reinhart on May

Centaurs. Chiron makes a station that day on
the North Node of the Moon.

September, 2007 via our website and this E-newsletter,
and one can participate by either telephone (cell phones
OK) or even a computer with internet, speakers and a mic

on anything from current events to solving a difficult
time for a client using astrology. We are
extending this offer at this time because we are
ushering astrology into a state where there are more
cows than people, let alone astrologers! Our plan
this year is to bring astrological AWARENESS to this
State and we would love everyone from everywhere to be a
part of that! We aren't called "Big Sky"
for nothing! We would love your presence and want

From October, 2007 to May, 2008, the Montana
Big Sky NCGR Chapter
plans to host FREE monthly teleconferences! Because we
are trying to
usher in astrology to a remote area, and because most
of us do not
live geographically close whatsoever, we wish to
implement this
program to assist the growth of astrology in Montana
and other rural,
surrounding areas!
After an informal polling, we concluded that these
conferences will
occur every 2nd Sunday of the Month, from
11:00am-1:00pm Mountain
